Welcome to the Vaughn family site. Below is a detailed explanation of what each menu option lets you do. Family Members Displays a list of all family members by name. Click on anyone's name to see their profile which includes information like where they live, their birthday, occupation, etc. This information is pulled from the profile in the Photo Gallery so be sure to keep your profile updated their (See 'My Info' below). Calendar This is a calendar that can be used to notify everyone of any event you want us to be aware of. Birthdays, Graduations, Holiday get togethers or anything else. It is actually a Google calendar that's embedded in this site. If you have an event you want added just email me and let me know. If you have a Google account send me your username and I can share the calendar with you so you can add your own events. Photos This is a photo gallery where you can share your photos with the rest of the family. If you need help uploading photos let me know. To keep the world from viewing all our photos it is set to only be viewable by someone who is logged in so you can rest assured that only the family can see the photos you upload. Gift List This is what was formerly known as the Vaughn's Christmas List. It has been updated to match the new site and doesn't specify 'Christmas' anymore so feel free to use it to keep track of what others want for their birthday or any other event where a gift is appropriate. My Info This will take you to your profile in the Photo Gallery. Please make sure you keep this updated because it is the info that will show up when others click on the 'Family Members' link. Just remember, now you'll have no excuse to forget when someone's birthday is! |
